Five years ago, Rob broke his arm at a
BMX park (within the first few minutes of a birthday party he had been looking forward to for weeks). We are not sure why, but Ry, five at that time, thought broken bones were contagious. No amount of reasoning was going to convince her otherwise. She refused to be in close proximity to her brother for six weeks! This past Wednesday one of Ry's best friends broke her arm. Within 24 hours, Ry had a broken arm as well. Maybe broken bones ARE contagious after all!
